Your entertainment space has been created! Select “OK”. Then you can change the height of the lights by tapping on the light you want to change. For this example, I placed my Philips Hue Lightstrip behind my TV and my lamp to the right of my sofa. Tap and drag the lights to the appropriate areas of your room. Once you have selected your lights, press "Continue".ĭetermine the position where your lights will be located. Only lights compatible with the color will be displayed here. Select the lights you want to use in the entertainment area. Otherwise, press “Create entertainment zone”. If you already have an entertainment zone set up in the Philips Hue app, just select it. Then the app will ask you in which room or entertainment area you want to set up the Sync Box. Then, when prompted, press the center button on the Hue Bridge. It will search for a bridge on your network. Next, we will need to connect the Hue Sync Box to the Hue Bridge.

When finished, it will inform you that the update was successful. While installing the update, the sync box may restart. It will then automatically check for updates and update if necessary. Press and hold the power button on the front of the sync box until the light on the front flashes green, then release it. Then you will be prompted to confirm the connection.
HUE SYNC NOT CONNECTING PASSWORD
You will be prompted to enter your password on the next screen. Next, we will configure the Wi-Fi by pressing “Configure Wi-Fi”. If configured correctly, you will see a confirmation of success. A Bluetooth notification should appear asking you to confirm if you want to pair your phone with the Sync Box. The app will then search for the sync box to pair. Next, make sure your mobile device's bluetooth connection is turned on, hold it near your sync box and hit "Search".
If it is blinking in a different color, select "No" and the app will walk you through some troubleshooting steps.Īccept the terms and conditions by selecting "Accept". If configured correctly, the front LED of your Hue Sync Box should flash blue. To do this, simply plug the Sync Box into the power supply, make sure all the HDMI inputs you want to use are plugged in, and then make sure the Sync Box is plugged into your TV via HDMI.
